Welcome to Sharp Tomato
Beading and Bead Embroidery has given me great pleasure over many years. On my website I'd like to share some of the pieces I've made and some of the lessons I've learnt on my own beading journey.
First and foremost I like to use quality beads, threads and findings to finish my work. Sourcing different and unusual beads and other elements is a key element to making any piece unique. In my travels through different countries I've been influenced by local beading and embroidery techniques and styles, and energised by different colours and shapes. I like to transform all I've learnt into unique and special pieces for my customers. I also enjoy passing on what I've learnt to others, and I usually run a couple of beading workshops every year at various locations. (see my Events page for details).
I frequently work on commissions for my customers and some pieces in my Gallery are 'firsts', in which I've explored and developed an idea I'm working on for a customer commission. I've included some examples in the gallery so you can see how many different elements can be incorporated into bead embroidery and beading.
I have a small on-line shop where you can buy a selection of my work. If you want something special made, I'm happy to discuss with you.
Feel free to contact me with any queries using the email on the Contact page.
I wish you happy beading in your own projects and I hope my work motivates and energises you to try something different in your own work!
best regards
Angela
