Here are some snaps of my 'tool box'.
Although I occasionally make bodies in muslin, or even calico (once), I mostly use a type of silk/linen that has a texture to it. Lovely to paint, embroider and generally work with.
All thread is cotton. Beads can be anything, but are mostly glass - but plastic is fun. I'm addicted to buttons.
I use high-quality paints and brushes.
