Sometimes they're papooses, and sometimes they're Eskimo babies. You decide ...
A simple silk/linen body, painted in various different ways. Sometimes varnished, more frequently not, because they're nicer to hold and squeeze when left 'natural'.
They are intentionally left blank so they are nicer to hold onto (a little I.T. joke there, sorry).
Sing, choirs of Angels. They always remind me of choral singers at Christmas.
'The Baby'. 5 inches.
The smallest of the papooses. Painted body, with a circle of felted wool on her back,
silk fibres, a shell button, surrounded by green beads and faux pearls.
'Aurora'. 7 inches.
The largest of the papooses. Painted silk/linen body, silk fibres arond her head,
polymer face.
